I posted the Reinventing Healthcare Exclusive Doctor' Panel video on an earlier post. Here I'm linking another one with 2 parts and it's another great panel by some leading doctors. Also, in this panel is a pediatrician with some very exciting info. The essence of why they work is very basic and simple. Your cells have an oil membrane. Viruses occur inside the cell and bacteria occurs outside the cell. Most medications are water based. Hmmm.... Can you guess why antibiotics are not affective for viruses? Simple right. Oil and water do not mix. So while most medications can work on bacteria, but under no circumstance do they work on viruses. Essential oils are ... oils. Oils mix. Essential oils are able to penetrate the cell membrane. Not only this, but they are systemic which means no matter where or how you use them, they go throughout the entire body including the bloodstream! That's some pretty powerful stuff!
Here's a few other differences:
Medications
Single molecule compounds
Very high concentrations
Single mechanism of action -targets one pathway for delivery
Can have severe, lasting effects
Essential oils
Complex, multi-chemical mixture
Varying concentrations
Multi-mechanisms of action- systemic (goes throughout entire body including bloodstream, no matter where or how it's used)
The only effect is aromatic
